The Epsom & Ewell u3a Play Reading Group meets on the fourth Thursday afternoon of each month at a member's home in the Epsom and Ewell area. Members take turns reading the parts in a selected play, aiming to complete one play during each meeting, followed by time for informal discussion and shared opinions. The group enjoys a wide variety of plays, from classic dramas and comedies to modern works, making each session both entertaining and thought-provoking. No acting experience is needed—just an enjoyment of theatre and the written word. It's a relaxed and friendly way to discover new playwrights, appreciate great drama and enjoy good company.
