The Epsom & Ewell u3a Looking into Paintings 1 group explores the fascinating stories behind some of the world's greatest works of art. Meeting on the second Thursday morning of each month at a member's home in the Epsom and Ewell area, the group looks at why, when and how a painting was created, the techniques used by the artist, its historical context and the meaning behind the artwork. Meetings are friendly, informal and encourage discussion, making them suitable for anyone with an interest in art, whether you're a beginner or already enjoy visiting galleries and museums. Join fellow members to deepen your understanding of famous paintings while enjoying good company through Epsom & Ewell u3a.
