Exploring London 17

Poster for Exploring London 17, showing members at Tate Modern and information about exhibitions and cultural visits.

The Epsom & Ewell u3a Exploring London Groups are among our most popular activities, taking members on fascinating walks to discover the history, architecture, parks, museums, hidden alleys and famous landmarks of London. With several groups meeting on different days throughout the month, there's something to suit a wide range of interests and walking abilities. Every outing offers the chance to learn something new, enjoy good company and experience parts of London you may never have visited before. As these groups are very popular, vacancies vary throughout the year, so please check the Epsom & Ewell u3a website for current group meeting days, availability and details of how to join.

This new Exploring London group will meet at a central point in London as people would be travelling from different locations. They are planning the first half year's outings. The outings are once a month on different days so they can take in different exhibitions and events. The research and leading of the walks is undertaken by members themselves, usually working in pairs which means that each does just one or two a year. There are no charges - other than rail fares and any admission fees. We would suggest comfortable walking shoes. Group communication is by WhatsApp group.
