The Epsom & Ewell u3a Dancing for Fitness and Fun group combines gentle exercise with music, laughter and friendship in a welcoming atmosphere. The group meets fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons at All Saints Church, Fulford Road, West Ewell. Members enjoy dancing a varied programme of Regency and Playford dances, community folk dances and traditional English folk dances, all taught at a relaxed pace. No previous dancing experience is needed, and you don't need to bring a partner. Dancing is a wonderful way to improve fitness, balance and coordination while meeting new people and having fun.

We've renamed our group!  We now dance a range of English, Scottish and European traditions. These include Regency, English and Scottish Country dancing, and some dances from Europe and USA. We occasionally have guest teachers to show us different traditions. We go back centuries to dance Regency and Playford dances. The emphasis is on fun, social exercise to great music! You don't need a partner. Wear flat-soled shoes. Bring your own mug for tea break time.
