The u3a (formerly University of the Third Age) is a members for members organisation for people no longer in full time employment. There is no age limit but members tend to be in their more senior years usually 50 plus, however, there is no rule regarding the age of members.

The annual membership fee covers participation in most group activities, depending on venue, as well as free entrance to our monthly meetings with speakers.
The u3a matters magazine is published five times a year. It is available as a digital copy on the Third Age Trust website.
Our Membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March and there are various membership options available.
Our current fees are listed below.
